FRED BOSSERMAN | PRESIDENT

Fred's natural artistic ability drew him into this career.  Combining his creative side with his meticulous attention to detail causes him to be precise with his architecture work.  His clients appreciate his wisdom from experience and his constant desire to learn, to remain environmentally conscious, and to go above and beyond clients' hopes for their projects.  Fred is a seasoned lead architect/project manager/designer with substantial hands on experience in design, and management of the building design process (including interior design), with a focus on the critical need for quality communication throughout the design and building process. 

With his 40 plus years of experience working as an architect for communications and television companies, schools, churches, banks, and a variety of other institutional and corporate clients, plus more than 1,000 residential projects makes him an excellent principal architect.  This give’s APR Associates current and future clients the sound design, project and business management experience that comes only with time and a diversity of project experience.

Fred is currently a member of The American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association, National Fire Protections Association, and International Code Council.

When not working on projects, he enjoys spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, hiking, fly fishing in the mountains, and seeing the valley country side.

AMY GORDON HALL | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Amy joined APR Associates in 2009, after graduating from the Art Institute of Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design.  She has been vital in both the designing and managing a wide variety of project types and is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and assembly of construction drawings. Her knowledge of construction principles makes her highly skilled in the development of working drawings and the evaluation of plans for building code and accessible design.  Her ability to specify and select interior finishes is immensely beneficial to our clients and their projects.  Additionally, she creates 3-D computer rendering presentation drawings, prepares marketing materials, manages social media, and collaborates on website design. She is proficient with AutoCAD Architecture, Sketchup, and Adobe Photoshop. 

She has a passion for creating spaces which are functional and organized while also enhancing the lives of those who use it. Amy enjoys spending her free time gardening, hiking, kayaking and most anything outdoors. She also loves making pottery and spending time with family and her numerous rescued fur babies.

AMANDA SMITH | DESIGNER

Amanda graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Interior Design and has been with APR Associates Architects for 20 years. She is proficient in AutoCAD Architecture and has helped with countless projects over the years.  Responsible for assembling construction drawings, assisting with the selection of interior finishes, preparing marketing materials and assists in office management. She enjoys the challenge of finding the best solution for interior spaces to meet the client’s needs while also offering different perspectives to reflect practicality of the space. Her hobbies include spending time with family, reading, and gardening.

Lenita Webster | Design Consultant

Lenita has been with APR Associates since 2006.  Graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Living Science with an emphasis in Interior Design, she brings with her over 23 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction design and detailing.  Her knowledge of construction methodology makes her essential in facilitating with the completion of construction documents. Working directly with homeowners, builders, architects and building officials, she designs and drafts custom building plans for residential and light commercial projects. She is proficient in AutoCAD Architecture and an enormous part of business development for the company. In her free time she enjoys gardening, homesteading chickens, and live music.

Bill Folmar | Product Research & Specifications

Bill joined APR Associates in 2006. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Virginia Tech in Farm Business Management. Bringing with him almost 50 years in the construction industry, Bill is very detail oriented making him the perfect person to be responsible for project specifications and product research. In addition, he assists throughout the projects phasing, with construction management, and inspections before and after projects.  His free time is spent working on home improvement projects, participating in bible study, reading, and gardening.

BRENDA WINE | ADMINISTRATOR

Brenda has been providing administration duties since the company was founded. She received her Secretarial Science Degree from Blue Ridge Community College and brings to APR Associates her extensive experience in administrative support for architectural services. She does a great job of keeping our company running smoothly. When she is not working for APR, she is often volunteering her time for non profit organizations. She also loves spending time with her grandson and traveling.
